WELCOME TO GREERS FERRY, ARKANSAS our small town in nestled in the foothills of the Ozarks surrounded by one of the most beautiful man-made lakes you will ever see, Greers Ferry Lake. Our crystal clear lake incorporates over 40,000 acres with approximately 340 miles of shoreline. A lake that is perfect for fishing, scuba diving, waterskiing, boating and camping. The lake is made up of two big bodies of water (what we classify as the North Side and South Side) that are connected by what we call The Narrows. Greer Ferry Lake and the dam were dedicated in October of 1963 by President John F. Kennedy. This was his last public appearance before his unfortunate trip to Dallas.
The town of Greers Ferry is located basically on the North Shore side where you will find the majestic Sugar Loaf Mountain Island rising over 500 feet from the water. It is a favorite spot for hikers with its easy climb and breathtaking views of not only the lake but our gorgeous countryside. Our town consist of all things needed such as motels, restaurants, grocery stores, gas/convenience stores, shopping, Baptist Health Clinic, doctors, dentist, boat stores and more. We are on a smaller scale of selection but that in-turn keeps us quaint and very approachable. We have first-rate marina’s to take care of all your boating needs and we have campsites galore. We have a host of beautiful lakefront homes some with your own private boat docks, some with boat stalls in community docks and some with breathtaking views. Even our homes off the lake will only be seconds from lake access. We like to think we have something in the way of real estate for all those who want to make this their home or vacation get-a-way.
